Rates

Courts are $28 per hour (including taxes and fees). Reservations may be booked and paid for 7 days in advance.

Tennis balls are available for $6/can; payment via Zelle and credit cards accepted.

Any questions, call us at (773) 799.7641. Maximum of 2 hours per booking. Walk-ins welcome but courts fill quickly. Regular court rates apply.

Sunday – Saturday
7am – 8pm
(Last booking at 7pm)

Fall Hours
Mid-August through Mid-October
Sunday – Saturday
7am – 7pm
(Last booking at 6pm)

RULES

- Weather-related Refund Policy: We will refund your court fee within 3-5 business days for cancellations due to weather. It may take several days for your credit to appear due to your bank’s or credit card’s procedures.

- Courts are for tennis only.

- Running shoes and cross trainers are NOT allowed. Proper tennis attire is required and smooth-soled tennis shoes must be worn on the court at all times.

- Play on all courts will begin and end each hour on the hour.

- Teaching is only permitted by authorized personnel.

- Cancellation Policy: Courts canceled less than 24 hours before reservation will NOT be refunded.

- On-Site Payment: We accept ZELLE payments and credit/debit cards for reservations not paid for online, as well as EXACT CHANGE cash. NO BILLS OVER $20.

- Please do not enter courts until you are permitted to play. All players should relinquish their court on the hour.

- No food, cups, glass, or alcoholic beverages are permitted.

- No bicycles, roller blades, or skateboards on the courts.

- Diversey Tennis Center reserves the right to alter pricing and policies at any time.

About Us

Diversey Tennis Center, managed and operated by the The Lincoln Park Tennis Association, is Chicago’s only public CLAY COURT facility. Situated at the easternmost foot of Diversey Parkway in Lincoln Park, we’re just steps away from the Lakefront trail, Diversey Harbor and the Diversey Driving Range. A “hidden gem in the city,” our idyllic setting and expertly maintained Har-Tru clay courts are open mid-May to mid-October. We welcome players of all skill levels!

As part of our mission to promote the game of tennis and give back to our community, Diversey Tennis Center provides youth tennis instruction for programs organized by the Chicago Park District. Come see what we’re all about and play the clay!
